Bookstore and Gift Shop

The Word Bookstore is nestled in the lobby of the Colombiere Center. It is a wonderful place to shop for a unique gift or to order difficult-to-find books that are either from small presses or out of print. We invite guests to browse through our store, which is open to guests and the public from 9:00am - 3:00pm. (Closed Sunday & Monday)

Selections range from gift items such as CD's, candles, angels, cassettes, greeting cards, and children's books. Whether you are involved in self help, a church group, or are just interested in personal growth, you will find a wide variety of personal discovery books and spiritual literature perfect for study. We also carry many Bible editions and religious articles (rosaries, art work, etc.) Telephone, mail orders and personal visits are always welcome. We will gladly special order items for you. VISA/MC accepted.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium is located on the 2nd floor and should be reserved in advance. The gymnasium is set up for volleyball, basketball or badminton, but is also available for general exercising. Groups are requested to bring their own sports equipment and gym shoes.

“Colombiere features an outdoor heated pool which is open seasonally from May through September. Guests are welcome to enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool to relieve stress and satisfy exercise needs. Pool activity is not supervised by a lifeguard, and towels are not provided.”

Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club
