Meeting Facilities and Services

A large, comfortable, beautifully decorated lobby greets guests. 15 conference rooms hold from 1 to 90 guests comfortably. An auditorium has theater style seating for 120, a full sound system and raised stage. Additional seating can be added for larger groups. A large chapel is always available for quiet meditation. Coffee and gourmet tea service is provided in the conference areas. Arrangements can be made for additional snacks and beverages, see menus below.

 

Colombiere has a number of conference rooms to suit the needs of various groups. All include dry erase boards or chalkboards and some include pianos. All may be arranged with conference tables and comfortable armchairs dictated by individual needs. Audio-visual equipment including VCR's and TV's are also available. Day only meetings, seminars and workshops are easily accommodated.

There is no charge for instruction on use of sound and lighting equipment if an appointment is made during regular business hours (Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 3:00pm). Requirements for a Colombiere technician to be present during your conference will be billed at $25.00 per hour. Requirements for a technician must be conveyed to the Colombiere Conference Coordinator at least one month in advance.

*Due to Health Department regulations, we cannot permit bringing in food trays, snacks, desserts, salads, etc. Packaged snacks, cookies and candies are permitted.

 

 

Meeting Room Capacity

 

Room capacity recommendations are listed on the following chart. Room shape and size, style and arrangement of tables, audio and visual needs, number of attendees and speaker requirements dictate meeting room setup. Most rooms can be moved in and out and the ability to see the speaker from all areas of the room. One meeting room is included in the initial quoted rates. Meeting room assignments are at the discretion of the Colombiere staff and are based on anticipated number of participants, meeting room set up and other factors.

Deposits

Daytime conference requires a 25% deposit of projected income with a minimum of $25. Overnight conferences are 25% of projected income with a minimum of $75 and a maximum of $1000. Deposits are non-refundable, but are applied to the total bill.

 

Discounts

A 15% discount is allowed on room rates for New Year's week, Easter weekend, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving week and Christmas week. Special consideration is given to groups that book the entire facility with 80 or more overnight guests, groups booking 3 or more events a year at the same time, or groups staying for extended periods of time.
